COVID-19 Update from REIQ: Permissible Real Estate Activities

While in-room auctions and open homes are still not permitted in Queensland, some restrictions have been eased as of 1 May 2020 announced by the REIQ. The following real estate activities are now permissible: 

• Private appointments for inspection, and
• Inspections with a maximum of six (6) people including the real estate agent inside the building at any one time, with no more than one person per 4 square metres.

Social distancing and strict hygiene protocols must still be observed.
