In 2016 and 2017 we planted Crimson Sentry Maples (Acer Platanoides) along our Crooke Street frontages as part of our Street Tree Master Plan for the Avenues of Highfields.

Sometimes things don’t work out and after two years it was obvious that these trees were not prospering.

As a developer truly committed to our vision of creating an exceptional community in Toowoomba, we bit the bullet and replaced these trees.

Tree lined streets are important for the urban aesthetic. They provide shade and reduce the heat island effect of urbanisation.

Today we have replaced these trees with 38 advanced October Glory Maples (Acer Rubrum) ex-ground from Emaho Tree Farm at Ravensbourne, where we are growing a supply of trees for our future stages.

At the Avenues of Highfields we remain committed to delivering an outstanding COMMUNITY, not just a subdivision.
